About Me

I am a Malaysian who has lived away from Malaysia for 20 years due to my husband and my love for travelling.   I met my husband in Melbourne, Australia where I lived in for 10 years.  We decided to live and work in different countries - from the Middle East to North Africa, Singapore and now the USA.  Living in different countries and renting apartments - we never really “settled down” many of our things are still in boxes, our photographs and pictures do not hang on our walls.

I have two boys, they are my pride and joy.   Trained as an accountant, I found my calling 2 years ago, in a sub-teaching role,  as an Integration Aide, helping children with learning difficulties assimilate into mainstream classes.

I love hands on stuff, from quilting to repurposing furniture to making cards. Being in the USA is so good for me, because there is so much opportunity to learn these things at a reasonable cost.

This blog is a simple record of our daily happenings for our families who live so far away from us . If you are a visitor and not family, welcome and I hope you like my blog enough to visit it again from time to time!
